Saints Row 4 Nintendo Switch release date dubstep gun

Saints Row 4 Nintendo Switch release date set for March

Time to dust off that dubstep gun — the Saints Row 4 Nintendo Switch release date has been announced. Volition’s crazy open-world mayhem extravaganza Saints Row 4 is finally making its way to Nintendo’s hybrid handheld console, finally joining its predecessor on the platform.

Saints Row 4 mixes up the formula of the franchise, kicking things off with a massive alien invasion. This forces the player to head into an alien virtual reality world and try to take it over in an effort to save what’s left of humanity. It’s a pretty wild ride, and you’ll soon be able to play it on a new console: the Saints Row 4 Nintendo Switch release date is March 27, 2020.

As fans of the franchise are well aware, the Saints Row games are packed with plenty of DLC. Saints Row 4 is no exception, and you’ll be happy to hear that a massive twenty-five pieces of DLC will be included with the game, right out of the box.

One question that might arise is whether or not you’ll be able to play split-screen co-op. While the game does mention that you can play it with 1–2 players, it doesn’t seem like Volition has added in a way for people to play together on the same console (at least judging from the game’s description in the announcement). Odds are, you’ll probably need to have two copies of the game and two Nintendo Switch consoles to play it together with a friend.

No Nintendo eShop page is up just yet, but you can secure a copy by pre-ordering Saints Row 4 on Amazon right now for $39.99 or your regional equivalent. In the meantime, you can check out the marvelous mayhem this game is bringing to the Nintendo Switch by checking out the Saints Row 4 Nintendo Switch release date trailer below.
