Warcraft 3: Reforged refunds

Warcraft 3: Reforged refunds reportedly offered by Blizzard

Blizzard Entertainment is reportedly offering automatic Warcraft 3: Reforged refunds to players who are dissatisfied with the state of this remade real-time strategy. If you’ve purchased Warcraft 3: Reforged and you’re not happy about how it turned out, it seems that a resolution is finally available for you.

There have been more than a few problems with the recent release of Warcraft 3: Reforged. Changes to the terms of service are much more restrictive than the original game and the game appears to have been severely downgraded when compared against its original Blizzcon reveal. Now, a submission on the /r/Warcraft 3 subreddit (via AltChar) reveals that there now appears to be an automated process that will let you get Warcraft 3: Reforged refunds with minimal hassle.

“I think word should go out to everyone, everywhere,” the Re ddit submission by /u/krOnicLTD began. “Blizzard is giving out automatic refunds for Warcraft 3 Reforged now[.] I pre-ordered the game in December 2018, played a bit through the beta (maybe like 10-15 hours) and after release[,] I also played around 5+ hours. I refunded the game a few minutes ago within one minute, automatically.”

According to this Redditor, the process for getting Warcraft 3: Reforged refunds is pretty easy. He states that he received his refund “within a minute.” He also added that he hopes enough people refund the game to get Blizzard Entertainment to reconsider releasing a game in what he and many others consider a less than ideal state.

Several other Redditors are commenting that they’ve also tried the automated review process and that it’s worked without any problems. However, a smaller number of Redditors report that they have not been able to get the instant refund to work for them, so bear in mind that it doesn’t seem to be 100% working just yet.

If you’ve purchased Warcraft 3: Reforged and you’d like a refund, you can request one via Blizzard support.
