Nintendo shows no respect for my wallet with Animal Crossing-themed Switch

Nintendo has displayed a flagrant disrespect for my savings account with its new Animal Crossing-themed Switch, which will allow me to further express my excitement for Animal Crossings: New Horizons by purchasing a third Nintendo Switch I don’t need, burning $299.99 on some pastel Joy-Cons because I have zero self-control.

The new Animal Crossing: New Horizons Switch console features blue and green Joy-Cons, a dock with Tommy, Timmy, and Tom Nook, and further Animal Crossing-themed detail on the console itself. A carry case and screen protector maintaining the same theme will also be sold separately.

2020 is already set to be an expensive year. The PS5 and Xbox Series X are around the corner, so many will be making the upgrade to next-gen along with purchasing whatever launch games they offer. So Nintendo, please, can you not do this? Most of us cannot afford this extravagant purchase right now, but at the same time, if I don’t have it then I shall die.

Take a look at the Animal Crossing-themed Switch below:

The new Switch will be available to purchase on March 13, 2020, ahead of Animal Crossing: New Horizons‘s launch on March 20.
