Hori Animal Crossing_ New Horizons Switch accessories coming soon

Hori Animal Crossing: New Horizons Switch accessories coming soon

Video game accessory company Hori is soon releasing a set of Animal Crossing: New Horizons items for the Nintendo Switch and Switch Lite. These Hori Animal Crossing accessories are set to release in Japan in March, with no word of a European or North American release yet.

All but one of the six new Hori Animal Crossing items work for both the Switch and the Switch Lite. Most of the universal items are bags, including a large bag with compartment dividers for storing most of your Switch accessories, a snug Switch pouch, a stylish back sling pouch, and a large tote bag. Additionally, there’s a foldable stand for charging either a Switch or Switch Lite in tabletop mode, and a protective skin/case for the Switch Lite. All of these accessories are patterned in Animal Crossing’s signature polka dot-like branding, with little houses, tents, and palm trees as a reference to the upcoming game’s island setting.

A pair of Japanese polls recently found that Animal Crossing: New Horizons was the most anticipated Switch game in the country, so it makes sense that these products are so far only releasing there. Perhaps if Nintendo saw enough Animal Crossing: New Horizons pre-orders outside of Japan, they might consider bringing some of Hori’s accessories westward.
