Shenmue 3 QTE fails log

WATCH: Shenmue 3 QTE fails are a laugh a minute

Shenmue 3 has been out for a while now and it’s a nice throwback to an older kind of gaming with the inclusion of quick-time events. What seems to have been overlooked, however, is that the Shenmue 3 QTE fails are absolutely hilarious.

YouTuber BlueMue created a compilation (highlighted via ResetEra) of what happens when you fail a quick-time event. Some of them made me literally cringe at some of the injuries Ryo Hazuki sustained from failing quick-time events, including:

  • Getting hit in the face with a log
  • Getting hit in the face with a fire extinguisher
  • Faceplanting six different ways from Sunday

There are some real gems buried in the compilation, especially with a young girl falling off of a ladder (don’t worry, she’s just fine) and a rather unfortunate encounter with a bird on some rafts. We won’t spoil too much of the fun for you, so go ahead and watch the Shenmue 3 QTE fails compilation by BlueMue below.
