Xbox Games with Gold January 2020 additions include Telltale’s Batman, LEGO Star Wars, and more

Microsoft has announced the Xbox Games with Gold January 2020 lineup in lieu of the looming new decade and month. The games coming in January include Telltale’s Batman series and a classic Xbox 360 LEGO game.

Microsoft announced the additions over on the Major Nelson blog. In 2020’s first month, Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will have a chance to download four games for free: Styx: Shards of Darkness, Batman: The Telltale Series – The Complete Season (episodes 1-5), Tekken 6, and LEGO Star Wars 2. The titles will be available for the following time periods.

  • Styx: Shards of Darkness (Xbox One): January 1 to 31
  • Batman: The Telltale Series (Xbox One): January 16 to February 15
  • Tekken 6 (Xbox 360): January 1 to January 15
  • LEGO Star Wars 2 (Xbox 360): January 16 to 31

Xbox One owners can play both Tekken 6 and LEGO Star Wars 2 on their consoles via the Xbox One’s backwards compatibility feature. Users can still snag Insane Robots and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate HD from the December Games with Gold lineup until December 31, and Jurassic World Evolution will remain free until January 15.
