The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Gwent will no longer receive support or updates beginning on Monday, December 9. Instead, development will focus on the mobile and PC versions of the game. Microtransactions will removed starting today. However, despite the restrictions, you’ll be able to continue playing on a console (sans updates) until June 9, 2020.
Starting on December 12, players will be able to migrate their console accounts to a GOG account and pick up on PC or mobile with progress and cards intact. Because account merging isn’t supported, the GOG account can’t have any Gwent progression attached. Players have six months (12/12/19 to 6/9/20) to transfer their accounts. After June 9, the console versions of Gwent will be completely shut down and the game will no longer be funcitonal on PS4 or Xbox One.

The Gwent announcement states it can copy the following progress from PS4 and Xbox One to a GOG account:
- All collected ornaments
- Meteorite Powder (Xbox One players only)
- All other currencies
- Cards
- Deck lists
- Account level
- Current Rank
- Thronebreaker rewards
- Contracts
PlayStation 4 players cannot transfer their Meteorite Powder to a GOG account. Therefore, if you’re playing on PS4, you must spend your powder before you initial the account-copying process.
Further details on the Gwent account-copying process will be available on December 12 on the official website.
