Xbox Game Pass will receive some huge games starting today, with Microsoft laying out its plans for the service heading into 2020 and beyond during X019. Starting today, the likes of Rage 2, Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition, and Remnant: From the Ashes will be launching on the service, with the Final Fantasy franchise collection then launching around the holiday season along with The Witcher 3, Streets of Rage 4, and more.
In 2020, Xbox Game Pass will continue to host major new Xbox and PC releases such as Microsoft Flight Simulator, Minecraft Dungeons, and Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Microsoft also announced that certain games will leave Xbox Game Pass by November 30, including GRID 2, Abzu, and Below, so if you haven’t played any of these titles yet, now is the time to check them out.
In an effort to court new users to the service, Microsoft also announced that new subscribers to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will get their first three months for just $1. For a limited time, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members will also get one month of EA Access, three months of Discord Nitro, and six months of Spotify Premium included as part of their member benefits. These perks are also available to existing Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members — navigate to the membership area on your console in order to get yours.
