WATCH: Pokemon Sword and Shield final trailer ups the ante

The Pokemon Sword and Shield final trailer has been released by Nintendo and Game Freak, offering Pokemon fans their final look at the game before it launches later this week.

Pokemon Sword and Shield is set to launch on Nintendo Switch on November 15, 2019. It’s the first mainline Pokemon game to launch on the console, after the successful spin-off Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee and Let’s Go, Pikachu.

The final trailer shows off more of the game’s open-world Wild Area, its roaming Pokemon, and epic Gigantamax battles.
