[Updated] These Retailers Still Have PlayStation 4 Available For Preorder

[8/08 – Check out our update on Amazon's preorder status below]

We still don't know Sony's planned release date for the next-generation PlayStation 4 console, but that won't stop retailers from taking your money in advance. With months left until the assumed November 2013 release, where can you turn to preorder your own shiny new gaming machine?

Amazon [Update]

Amazon has stated via Facebook that their PS4 preorders will probably stop tomorrow, and if not then, very soon as we draw closer to Sony's November launch window. If you haven't gotten a Launch Edition preorder from the internet retailer, your options are to grab a bundle as soon as possible, or look elsewhere for your shiny new console.

[Original] The world's largest online retailer still has pre-orders available for PlayStation 4, but only the Launch Day bundles will give you the system on day one. These bundles that come complete with games and PlayStation Plus subscriptions (which you'll need to play online), as well as bundles that only come with a game for your shiny new system. Or you can just buy the Standard Edition that doesn't come with any games, nor does it arrive at launch.

Best Buy

You can hop over to Best Buy's website to preorder a PlayStation 4, accessories, PlayStation Plus subscription cards, and of course a bundle that wraps up Killzone: Shadow Fall, a subscription card, and, of course, the console.

GameStop

The biggest gaming-specific retailer on the planet has several PlayStation 4 bundles available for preorder, but the number of console-only packages have disappeared and are no long available on line. GameStop's Call of Duty: Ghosts, Battlefield 4, Killzone: Shadow Fall, Madden NFL 25, Drive Club, and Knack basic bundles are all avialable (just click on your game of choice) for the list price of $459.98. You can also get a Knack bundle that adds a second DualShock 4 here ($519.97) or if racing games are your thing, Drive Club has the same deal available.

Walmart

Walmart currently has the base system available for preorder here ($399.96). You can also grab a bundle that includes a second DualShock 4 controller and the new PlayStation Camera, as well as a game of your choice here ($576.96). If you'd rather have finer control over your preorder bundle, you can get the console and your choice of accessory or game here ($459.00).

Did you score a preorder for a launch-day console at another retailer we don't have here? Let us know in the comments and we'll add it to the post (giving you credit of course!)
