Pokemon Sword and Shield fans are in for a treat with the reveal of the Pokemon Wild Area Search web content. This piece turns the Wild Area of the Galar region from the upcoming Nintendo Switch exclusive Pokemon Sword and Shield into a lovely diorama that players can explore by using a 360-degree camera.
This release is bound to become a great counterpart to the frantic battles coming with Pokemon Sword and Shield, offering players a more relaxed and peaceful experience.

According to Famitsu, players will explore the Pokemon Wild Area Search using the camera, with a strong chance of meeting a few CG Pokemon along the way, as they roam around the region. The Wild Area is a huge section located in the Galar region that connects several cities, and it is inhabited by the most diverse types of Pokemon. It wasn’t detailed if combat is going to be involved, but the first impressions point to a simple, leisurely experience without any sort of confrontations.
Production on the diorama is being supervised by Amazing Jiro, a popular face and body paint artist with over 16 years of experience. You can see some of his impressive works that highlight his skills and ability to use make-up to create very diverse scenes, from aging to surrealistic expressions.
More details leading to the release of Pokemon Wild Area Search will be revealed on the Poke Times Twitter, which is where the first image starring the beloved Pikachu was first shown.
Pokemon Wild Area Search is coming to PC, Mac, Android, iOS from early November to December 31, 2019. It will support Japanese, Korean, Traditional and Simplified Chinese languages. It’s too early to know if it will be available worldwide, but there is a strong possibility that Nintendo and The Pokémon Company are planning on doing so.
