Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 playthrough

Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 playthroughs will last around 30 hours for most players

Hopefully, you have have to time to spare for your first Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 playthrough as it is probably going to last you around 30 hours, according to developer Hardsuit Labs. This length is for players who aren’t rushing through the campaign but those who take their time to explore every location and exhaust every dialogue option will take longer to complete the game.

Product Manager Florian Schwarzer told PCGamesN that they aren’t expecting most players to finish Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 just once. He is expecting players to dive right in for a second playthrough and explore different backgrounds and plans.

ALSO: Blair Witch story takes ‘between 5 to 6 hours’ to finish

Schwarzer is assuming that one Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 playthrough will take an average of 30 hours, if you aren’t an “obsessive completionist,” but like to explore the world.

The first Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines can be completed in around 28 hours, which means that the sequel is aiming for a similar playtime. It’s a reasonable length for an RPG nowadays that should keep you busy for a few days and nights, but it’s a far cry from The Witcher 3, which offers a 100-hour campaign, which doesn’t even include the additional Blood and Wine and Hearts of Stone expansions.

Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 is the follow-up to the cult-classic immersive sim developed by Troika. Despite being released with a bunch of bugs, it achieved some success due to the quality writing and the freedom that players had to explore the world and become a part of it.

The sequel is going to double down on these qualities, aiming for a world where no one is what they seem at first. Flirtation is a part of the adventure, but you must be careful about who is doing it, and why. Is it honest or simply a means to an end? You’ll know when Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 launches in March 2020.
