You might be as surprised as we were to hear that Journey iOS released today, August 6. You can head on over to the App Store right now and pick up the classic whimsical thatgamecompany game for just a few dollars.

Seemingly out of nowhere, Journey released on iOS today, August 6, as stated above. Thanks to Annapurna Games, the classic thatgamecompany adventure title can be played on compatible iOS devices right now. Better yet, Journey will only set you back $4.99 on the App Store. There are a few things you should be aware of before you buy Journey, however, including restrictions.

Despite releasing in 2012 on the PS3, you will need a relatively recent iOS device to play Journey. According to the game’s App Store page, you will need to have either your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch updated to iOS 12.2 or later in order to play the game. It’ll also take up a large slice of your available storage space, weighing in at 1.1 GB. Make sure you have some room available on your iOS 12.2 or above device before diving in.

Unfortunately, there is no word on a Journey Android release date as of writing. Despite this, you can pick Journey up on PS3, PS4, PC, and now iOS.
