Forza Motorsport 4 Pre-Order Bonuses, Profile Import Detailed

Wait, we don't even have a release date yet, all we've got is Autumn. But that hasn't stopped Microsoft from announcing that a limited number of Forza Motorsport 4 games at retail will include an exclusive in-game pack of 5 cars – the Ford Mustang GT Coupe 1965, Koenigsegg Agera 2011, Lexus SC300 1997, RUF RGT-8 2011, and Tesla Roadster Sport 2011.

This pack is limited to the first production run of Forza Motorsport 4, which is unusual in today's propensity to tie retailers to specific pre-ordering bonuses (that might still happen here). On top of that, this is separate from the actual Limited Collector's Edition of the game which will have its own exclusive content. (Got all of that straight?)

Best of all, "for those who have invested tireless hours in Forza Motorsport 3", profiles can be transferred to Forza Motorsport 4 with gift cars, bonus credits, and other credits based on your player level in FM3. All layers and liveries edited in FM3 will also import over. Good play, Turn 10 Studios. Good play.

Stay tuned for more announcements at E3 in Los Angeles. That's their words, not mine.
