Say what you will about the business practices of publisher giant Electronic Arts, perhaps even say that this is just one (fabulous) PR campaign, but EA has been consistent year after year with their support for the LGBT community. And this year, not only have they hosted the first LGBT Full Spectrum event for LGBT members of the game industry, but they will be showing their support in gay Pride parades around the world.
It would be one thing if they just hung a rainbow flag at their headquarters in Redwood Shores, California (which they will). But they're going bigger this year, and EA employees plan not just to attend the Pride parades for Seattle and San Francisco (as they did last year), but those in Los Angeles, Stockholm, Austin, Orlando, and Vancouver.
What do you think of their support for the LGBT community?
