Doom Eternal

Bethesda announces Doom Slayers Club, has free goodies and more

Slaying demons in the Doom universe already rewards enough as it is. But now Bethesda has some bonus goods you can earn, just in time for the release of Doom Eternal. The publisher has announced a new promotion called the Slayers Club. With it, players have the opportunity to earn some sweet exclusive Doom gear to celebrate their favorite franchise.

Bethesda details the club even further in this blog post. “Members of the Slayers Club can earn Slayer Points for everything they do on the (game) site,” the blog notes. “Join in on special in-game challenges for Doom, read articles, watch videos or even submit your best fan art – it all earns you Points!”

You’ll rank up accordingly as you accumulate points, and can later use those to unlock digital goods, including Slayer skins. But of course, you have a chance to score some physical stuff as well. It’s free to sign up, and you can do so here.

“Slayers Club members can also earn entries for the monthly prize pool, containing all kinds of Doom goodies such as t-shirts, vinyl records, Doom Slayer figures and much, much more,” the blog post notes.

You can get a glimpse of the goods available in the picture above. As you can see, there’s some pretty rad stuff with an album full of appropriate heavy music. And given how celebrated Doom‘s soundtrack was, that’s a good thing.

There’s still no word on when Doom Eternal will come out. However, QuakeCon is just a couple of months away. That’ll likely set the stage for when we’ll see the return of the franchise, which will give you time to really rack up those Slayer points.

Doom is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Doom Eternal will release for those platforms as well.
