Latest Ace Attorney 5 Trailer Doesn’t Object To Tried-And-True Gameplay

The fifth mainline Ace Attorney game is headed to release this summer in Japan and the latest trailer for the game details the characters you'll be working with in the court room. Phoenix Wright will be joined by rookie attorney Kidzuki Kokone and returning prosecutor Apollo Justice.

While the series has always given players the opportunity to investigate and prosecute, Ace Attorney 5 utilizes full 3D graphics so players can explore crime-scenes in 3D. Courtroom scenes and characters are also animated with full 3D graphics so you can pop that slider up when you yell "Objection!" "Strike down the lies of the witness and expose the truth!"

Even if you've never played an Ace Attorney game before, watch out for AA5 to land on US 3DS handhelds soon after it's July 25th release in Japan. We still don't know for sure if Capcom will be localizing the game outside of Japan, but the series was a staple in the early days of the DS. With Nintendo of America co-publishing Bravely Default: Flying Fairy with Square Enix, I don't think they'll let Phoenix Wright and company sit for long before bringing it West for current and prospective owners of their handheld hardware.
