The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series announced, includes full series

Today, Skybound Entertainment announced The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series, a re-release of all four seasons of Telltale’s The Walking Dead on a single disc, along with the 400 Days stand-alone episode and the comic book-canonical Michonne mini-series. The Telltale Definitive Series will be exclusively available in three different varieties of collector bundles, although the most expensive limited bundle has already sold out at time of writing.

The cheapest bundle is the “Protector Pack,” which is available for $99 and includes each of the games, an “Ericson School for Troubled Youth” unisex graphic t-shirt, enamel pins of Lee Everett and Clementine, a group of Russian nesting dolls that portray the four different versions of Clementine seen in the game, a replica of Kenny’s iconic hat, and a “Disco Broccoli” plush.

The $249 “Guardian Pack” comes with the above extras, a diorama of Lee and Clementine from the first season of The Walking Dead, an art print, and gold-stamped signatures from the Still Not Bitten development team–a group formed from existing Skybound employees and former Telltale developers that stepped in to finish the development of The Final Season after Telltale’s closure last year.

The “Signature Pack,” which is already sold out, comes with all of the above, except the art print has been hand-signed by Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman, members of the Still Not Bitten team, and some of the voice talent from the series. The Signature Pack was limited to 100 pieces, and will likely curry a high price on the aftermarket. All three bundles have been given a release date of “September,” and can be pre-ordered on the official Skybound store until May 31 or “until supplies run out.”

The Walking Dead‘s first season was extremely well-received by critics and fans alike, earning several Game of the Year awards and nominations back in 2012. However, subsequent installments of the series were criticized for weak, repetitive storytelling and transparent attempts to re-create moments and emotions from the inaugural season that hadn’t been earned by new characters.
