Leisure Suit Larry Reloaded Has Release Date, Price

About a year ago, a Kickstarter campaign to remake the original Leisure Suit Larry game, Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards, was launched and funded rather quickly. Now the game finally has a launch date and a price point.

In speaking with ShackNews, Paul Trowe, CEO of Replay Games, said that Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards: Reloaded (that's a mouthful of a title) will release on PC, Mac, and Linux for $19.99 on May 31st. The game is already in the beta phase, and if the testing goes as well as Trowe hopes, it's possible the game will release early.

The original game released in 1987, so I was way too young to be allowed to even watch the grown-ups play the game on now-ancient IBM PS/2s. Obviously I could have jumped in on the action in the 20+ years since then and never did, but there's something about this remake that really makes me curious about it. I hope it's really, really 80s bad.
