Epic Games announced today that their second DLC for Gears of War: Judgment, the Call to Arms expansion, will release next week. The expansion will include three new multiplayer maps and a brand new game mode. Season Pass holders will have access on April 23rd, whereas everyone else can pick it up on April 30th. Season Pass holders will also receive permanent multiplayer doube XP. If you don't have a Season Pass, Call to Arms will cost 1,000 MSP ($12.50).
The new maps are called Terminal, Blood Drive, and Boneyard, and they combine close and vertical combat. The new game mode is called Master At Arms, which is a free-for-all style that calls for players to use all 20 different weapons for kills without using grenades or melee attacks. Each kill automatically unlocks the next weapon, and once players kill with each weapon, they will become a "master at arms." Get it?
Are you an Achievement whore? The expansion includes 10 new Achievements worth 250 Gamerscore.
Wake me when there's single-player campaign DLC. The first two campaigns weren't enough for me.
