The next installment of Lara Croft’s story has arrived. The latest Shadow of the Tomb Raider ‘The Grand Caiman’ DLC launched today across all platforms. This is installment number six of seven planned DLCs for Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Fans of the iconic Lara Croft don’t need to wait any longer for her next adventure. The Grand Caiman DLC features Lara facing off against deadly mercenaries to save the lives of innocent San Juan villagers. What is included in the Shadow of the Tomb Raider The Grand Caiman DLC?
The Grand Caiman DLC in Shadow of the Tomb Raider features a brand new challenge tomb known as Zipanca’s Carving. Players will need to explore the tomb while avoiding all of its deadly threats and defeating the mercenaries. If you are able to survive, you’ll be given powerful rewards. You won’t have to explore the new challenge tomb without some new gear, though. Players will receive a Reptile Hide outfit that heightens resistance against projectiles and boosts XP gained from assault kills. Additionally, players can also equip an all-new suppressed shotgun, known as the Whispering Scourge. Finally, players will be given an all-new ‘Volvano Skill’ that enables crafting incendiary shotgun ammo, which sets flammable objects and most enemies ablaze.
In addition to all of this, Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have decided to make all of the tombs from the main campaign playable in both Score Attack and Time Attack modes.
How much is ‘The Grand Caiman’ DLC?
You can purchase the latest Shadow of the Tomb Raider ‘The Grand Caiman’ DLC for just $4.99 if you don’t have the season pass. However, if you’re a fan of Lara Croft and her various adventures, you’ll probably want to go ahead and purchase the Season Pass for $29.99, which includes the previous five DLCs, The Grand Caiman DLC, and the one future DLC adventure that hasn’t been released yet. Additionally, you’ll also get seven new weapons, outfits, and skills with each DLC that is released. If you want to take all of Lara’s adventures with her, then the Season Pass is definitely the way to go.
