Dead by Daylight Evil Dead Ash DLC

Dead by Daylight Evil Dead Ash DLC announced with trailer

Load your boomstick and get ready to kick some ash: the Dead by Daylight Evil Dead Ash DLC has finally been announced, confirming a rumor that popped up last night. Horror movie aficionados will be well-familiar with Ash, but it’s understandable if you haven’t watched the cult classic Evil Dead series. In short, Ash is a regular dude who gets thrust into a hellish experience involving the Necronomicron, demonic entities, and angry skeletons. Ash, of course, decides to fight back in glorious fashion.

Needless to say, Ash is a perfect fit for Dead by Daylight. This is a game that puts players in the classic “killer monster versus stupid teenagers” scenario seen in approximately 30 percent of all horror movies. Players will typically have to work their way through a level activating objectives and evading the Killer. If the Killer takes out all of the Survivors, he wins. If one or more of the Survivors manage to escape the level, they win.

The Dead by Daylight Evil Dead Ash DLC will be adding one more legendary hero to the roster of Survivors. Unfortunately, Ash is in the game without his requisite boomstick. You can discard any notions of blowing away the Killer with a double-barreled blast all up close and personal-like. That said, you’ll still get to enjoy the angelic voice of Mr. Bruce Campbell as he runs for his life alongside everyone else in the game.
