This scary spectacle showcases enhanced HD graphics that make this survival horror game more frightening than ever. That’s not all that’s new to this edition, though. There’s also a prologue level that will add even more scary gameplay to the game’s existing content.
If you haven’t yet played Among The Sleep, it’s a title that manages to be adorable and terrifying at the same time. You take on the role of a young child who has been gifted a teddy bear to keep him safe. You’ll wake up in the middle of the night and venture out into the darkness only to discover a frightening world full of terrors. There’s no combat or healing herbs in this one — Among The Sleep is a pure first-person survival horror experience.
The Among The Sleep Enhanced Edition gameplay trailer shows off some of the stunning graphical improvements that have made its way into the game. The textures are smoother and in higher detail, and several other graphical effects have been improved as well. Additionally, the player will be able to change their pajamas to mix things up a bit. A new prologue level will let you explore just a little more of the game’s world, too. Finally, a museum will allow players to explore the game’s art and assets in great depth, gaining insight into the development process of this award-winning game from Krillbite Studio.
Among The Sleep Enhanced Edition is coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in a physical edition on May 29, 2019. The Nintendo Switch will also be getting a digital version of the game, and PC players can get it right now on Steam.
