Deus Ex: Human Defiance Is A Retro Revolution For April Fools







Jean-Francois Dugas and Jonathan Jacques-Belletete, two of the top developers at Edios Montreal responsible for producing the awesome Deus Ex: Human Revolution, have revealed that the rumored sequel title Deus Ex: Human Defiance is actually just a cruel… cruel joke. Why do you do this to us, April Fool?

The video above shows off the co-op, retro sidescrolling action in Human Defiance. The enthusiasm for the project eminates from the developers, but some of their coworkers are not amused. Listen guys, Thief 4 is exciting and all, but I really wanna know where the next Deus Ex is headed. This… was just mean.

Still, it's funny to see JC joining Adam for co-op sidescrolling action. Just watch the clip above.
