Epic Games Shows Off New “Infiltrator” Unreal Engine 4 Tech Demo

Above you can watch the full demo for Unreal Engine 4 that Epic Games has been showing to reporters and developers at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco for the past week. Unreal Engine 4 is, of course, the next piece of development technology following Unreal Engine 3.

You'll remember Unreal Engine 3 from many of the best-loved games from the current console generation, including both Batman Arkham games, Gears of War, and this week's blockbuster Bioshock Infinite (read our review here). Epic VP Mark Rein said in a tweet that the demo you see above runs in real-time on a single "off-the-shelf" Nvidia GTX 680.

What do you think? PC fans can brag about owning a next-gen system right now, but console gamers must be looking forward to impressive graphics like these from the comfort of their couch, right?
