Don’t Delete Your Gears of War 3 Beta Unlocks!

If you've been playing the Gears of War 3 Beta like I have, you've probably been having a lot of fun. You're probably dreading the day that the Beta closes. You're probably thinking "Holy shit! What am I going to do with my free time?!"

Don't get yourself a sawed-off shotgun; they're illegal. Don't go running around crouched [thanks Lethean] over; it'll hurt your back. Don't chainsaw tons and tons of people and shout "Woo baby! Cole Train!!" No matter how fun that might be.

It's true, I've officially disgusted my girlfriend. It only took one or two chainsaw kills before I was smiling and guffawing with the elation only a child feels. Essentially, what I'd do is throw a smoke grenade, rev my chainsaw, and walk right in. Nine times out of ten, I'd have taken off an arm… and a lung.

With the beta ending, you'll want to make sure you keep the unlocks you earned through all of those chainsaw kills. Here are the proper steps to deleting the Gears 3 Beta without deleting your save games:

-Go to the System Settings menu on your Xbox 360

-Select “Memory”

-Select “Games”

Select the Gears of War 3 Beta (507MB) and delete it.
