Just Cause 4

Just Cause 4 available now on Xbox Game Pass

Just Cause 4 has landed on Xbox Game Pass. The game was released on December 4, 2018, meaning the sequel has made its way onto Xbox Game Pass a little over three months since its initial release. Just Cause 4 saw players return to Rico Rodriguez and all his explosive antics as a rogue agent. The game featured a dynamic weather system with opposing biomes, a new addition to the series.

Reports of the addition of Just Cause 4 to Xbox Game Pass emerged on Reddit before the Xbox Game Pass Twitter account confirmed the news:

“March 7 has come early,” suggests the announcement was intended for tomorrow, though it isn’t confirmed if the premature discovery of Just Cause 4 on Xbox Game Pass led to the advanced reveal. Along with Just Cause 4, the tweet reveals Fallout 4 and LEGO Batman 2 will also be joining the March line-up.

Xbox Game Pass has quickly become a popular way for Xbox One owners to play a wide selection of games, acquiring praise for its value for money proposition. Last month, the service gained Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Batman: Return to Arkham, and The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season, all of which are critically acclaimed titles. February also saw Xbox Game Pass receives Crackdown 3 immediately upon its release.

Microsoft appears to be keenly aware of the value of their new subscription service. Rumors have emerged the computing giant may be looking to bring the service to other platforms such as the Nintendo Switch. A proposition which may have pleased Just Cause 4 fans looking to play the game on the go.

For players who may be jumping into Just Cause 4 for the first time via Xbox Game Pass, here’s how you can get the game’s weaponized wingsuit. If the full game isn’t enough, we can answer if DLC is coming for the title.
