Apex Legends player reportedly gets a different kind of help from EA Support

An Apex Legends player got a different kind of help from EA SupportApex Legends has proved to be a wildly popular game since its launch at the beginning of February 2019. It hit a total of 10 million unique players in less than a week and even managed to unseat battle royale king Fortnite from the top spot on Twitch. That popularity has crossed boundaries, like in this particularly unusual case posted on the /r/ApexLegends subreddit.

Redditor /u/Dvitash was reportedly speaking with Electronic Arts’ Customer Support in order to process a refund. We only get to see the latter part of the conversation, but it seems like the customer support representative managed to resolve their issue without any major problems. Believe it or not, even one of the most-maligned companies in the world can occasionally do things right—the Reddit thread is filled with people who talked about how EA’s customer support is surprisingly good at times.

After their business transaction was completed, /u/Dvitash brought up another subject and might have just made themselves a friend. he decided to ask the customer support representative if they’d fancy playing a few games of Apex Legends together after all of the refund business was completed.

you

Okay, thank you. Another question, completely not professional lmao, but you tryna play Apex?

EA Support

Yup I do.

EA Support

😉

you

Bet, we should play. I am a wraith main with 400+ plus kills. Wanna play tonight with me and my friend?

EA Support

Yep sure, I play Bangalore!! 😀

you

Okay! Add me,  █ █ █ █ █ █. When can you play?

EA Support

After this shift, like 4 hours from now.

Bear in mind, it’s entirely possible that this was all just made up. It is, after all, just a screenshot and those are terribly easy to fake—nevermind all of the shenanigans people can get up to with Chrome’s Inspect element feature. This, however, is one story we’d very much like to believe is true.

According to /u/Dvitash, he hasn’t yet had a chance to play with the unnamed EA Support representative. Here’s hoping they get together soon.
