Bioshock Infinite Preorders Tally Up Free X-COM On Steam

With the hotly anticipated Bioshock Infinite just one week from release today, it seemed Steam users felt compelled to put their money down now in order to unlock a free download of X-COM: Enemy Unknown with their order. Customers also earned a free copy of the original Bioshock and some Infinite-themed TF2 items.

You can still order and get these bonuses as well, but just know that you weren't a part of something meaningful. You just reap the benefits while other people did the heavy lifting. Pfft, I want you out of my sight! You disgust me!

He's gone? Alright cool, I gotta preorder now. You know, I've been thinking, that progress bar sure did seem to shoot forward over the past 24-48 hours. I wonder if it was always the plan to give away X-COM for free.
