Destiny 2 Dawning this week at Bungie.

Destiny 2 Dawning Blog Post Details Upcoming Changes

The Destiny 2 Dawning festivities are ongoing, but Bungie has more in store for its shooter. In its weekly blog post, Bungie detailed some upcoming changes coming to the game. The Season of the Forge content rollout is ongoing in Destiny 2, and Bungie has a number of fixes coming as well.

Black Armory Investigations in the Season of the Forge are being fixed in an upcoming patch. The Scourge of the Past raid had an issue with qualifying players not being rewarded properly, which should be fixed soon. Revive tokens are also having a problem throughout Destiny 2, but appear to be happening more frequently in the raid. Bungie is still investigating the issue.

The Black Armory Forge has seen some players lose weapon frames, and, again, Bungie is working on a fix. Unlocking the Gofannon Forge is bugged, as only the player who lands the killing blow on a particular high-value target will receive credit. Issues with the Postmaster and Fastidious Miser Triumph are also being investigated and fixed.

Destiny 2 Dawning brought Eva Levante back to The Tower, and she brought a range of recipes for players to bake. The many baked goods from Levante’s oven can be given to NPCs throughout Destiny 2, spreading holiday cheer and granting players new rewards.

There will also be two weeks of Mayhem alongside the Dawning event. Mayhem is a PvP Crucible gametype that sees increased recharge rates for all abilities and more ammo around the map. A round of Iron Banner will also run from December 25 until January 1.

Next week’s 2.1.3 patch will fix a number of issues, and bring some quality of life updates to Destiny 2. Players under 600 Power will start receiving higher-powered rewards upon completing Director Challenges, as a way to speed up player progress. Other fixes for matchmaking, weaponry, and inventory bugs will be coming as well. You also may want to know where Xur is at this weekend, and we’ve got you covered.
