2K Games Officially Pins Down WWE License In THQ Sell Off

While there were rumblings that 2K Games would pick up the license for WWE amid the THQ selloff, it's now official cause Stone Cold said so. Bloomberg reports that Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. is also hoping to continue working with Yukes, who will be happy not to hear "You'reeee firrred!"

The report goes on to say that this ends any contracts THQ had with WWE or Yukes and saves the company millions by settling claims against THQ for failing to, well, continue to produce WWE games. It's weird to be writing this as usually Nick_Tan takes on anything WWE related, so instead I'll just turn back to my internet search results for "WWF quotes."

"Whatcha gonna do when Hulkamania runs wild on you?"

"Suck it."

Obviously I couldn't find ways to work these ones into the article, but if you use you're imagination you might be able to write something better in the comments.
