Red Dead Online Achievements Leaked Ahead of Beta Release

Players have spotted some movement in the Red Dead Redemption 2 Online Achievements over the weekend. And with the beta of the online mode starting from tomorrow for some players, it’s given us a bit of insight for how the mode will play. Screenshots show activity for Red Dead Redemption 2 Online that points to the mode being in late testing phase. The news comes in tandem with the release date for the beta after Rockstar went quiet on the matter since releasing their epic Western.

The screenshots via UltraGamerz, show an Achievement called “Breakout” and others for Red Dead 2‘s online mode have jumped from 0% to 0.01%. It’s a safe bet that any changes to the online Achievements are because of developers or testers. The news we’ve had on Red Dead 2‘s online mode before the beta’s announcement had been fairly slim apart from a handful of leaks. Though we’re still waiting for news on a PC release of the game.

Interestingly, though, the title of those Achievements do suggest that leaks reported by Rockstar Intel in mid-November detailing the opening mission for Red Dead 2 Online are on the money. “Breakout” seems like a good match for the leaked screenshots which show three prisoners in the back of a wagon. The Achievement/Trophy is presumably earned after you’re freed by some fellow outlaws and begin your new life as a cowpoke.

Though, the other Achievements, “Guns for Hire” and “Series Major” point to surrounding activities that’ll litter the digital Wild West, what we can expect from the “Series” missions remains unknown. Though the “Free Roam” missions detailed for Guns for Hire suggest something similar to the Simeon missions in GTA Online. Of course, we could be wrong about that – we’ll just have to wait and see. Not long to wait now.
