Prequel E-book For BioShock Infinite Out In February

If you can't wait until the end of March to learn more about BioShock Infinite's Columbia, then Irrational Games may have a small term solution for you. They will be releasing an e-book on February 12th for Kindle called Mind in Revolt that is a prequel to the game.

The book will go into greater detail about the world of Columbia and its residents before the events of the game unfolds. "After reading the e-book, players will have a better understanding of BioShock Infinite's world, the struggle between its factions, and the motivations of key characters, like rebel leader Daisy Fitzroy, without spoiling the mysteries of BioShock Infinite," Irrational's Joe Fielder, the book's co-author explained in the press release. For those curious, creative director Ken Levine is the other co-author.

The book will cost $2.99, but if you preordered the game through Amazon, you will receive a free copy in addition to the in-game Industrial Revolution Pack that includes in-game gear, currency, and the Industrial Revolution puzzle game.
