Super Smash Bros Ultimate Announced for Nintendo Direct

Nintendo has announced a Super Smash Bros Ultimate Nintendo Direct showcase due to air this Thursday, November 1. The show will last for roughly 40 minutes, according to the details that have been shared so far by the official Nintendo of America Twitter account.

This Direct will be hosted by none other than Masahiro Sakurai himself, the infamous director of the popular Smash series. This is to be the final showcase before the game launches on December 7, so it will likely clear up most of the rumors that have been circulating online over the past few weeks.

It is also noteworthy to mention that despite there being 4o minutes of Super Smash Bros Ultimate alone, there will be a post-show Nintendo Treehouse: Live presentation, too. This Nintendo Direct is shaping up to be pretty huge as the gaming giant approaches the releases of Pokemon Let’s Go and Super Smash Bros Ultimate in the coming months.

In fact, the Nintendo of America Twitter account posted details of other games that would be making an appearance, too:

The showcase is scheduled to kick off at the following times:

  • 7 AM PT
  • 10 AM ET
  • 2 PM BST

In order to tune in, all you need to do is go over to the Nintendo Direct home page. You can also pre-order Super Smash Bros Ultimate from there.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate is scheduled to launch for the Nintendo Switch on December 7, 2018.
