Cyberpunk 2077 Bandai Namco Confirmed as Publisher in UK and Europe

CD Projekt Red has announced an official Cyberpunk 2077 Bandai Namco distribution deal. Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe will publish the highly-anticipated game in the UK and several regions in Europe. Earlier this month, the developer also confirmed that Warner Bros Entertainment will be publishing Cyberpunk 2077 in the United States.

According to the press release, Bandai Namco will distribute and promote Cyberpunk 2077 in European regions, which includes Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Malta, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands, and the UK. This Cyberpunk 2077 Bandai Namco partnership won’t be the first time that the publisher has worked with CD Projekt Red.

In the past, Bandai Namco has collaborated with CD Projekt Red with the distribution of The Witcher 2 Assassins of Kings and The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt in European regions as well. This was mentioned by CD Projekt Red board member and business development SVP Michał Nowakowski in the press release. He also described Cyberpunk 2077 as developer’s “biggest and most ambitious project to date,” as well as stating how confident he feels of working with Bandai Namco.

“Our current distribution partnership with Bandai Namco is built on the strong foundation and trust developed during our previous projects,” he said. “We’ve successfully cooperated on The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and I’m convinced Bandai Namco will take good care of Cyberpunk 2077.”

Now that the developer has confirmed several of the publishers for its upcoming RPG game, there’s a real possibility we could be heading towards an eventual announcement of the official Cyberpunk 2077 release date for the PS4. Xbox One, and PC. Recently, the release window for the upcoming game was reportedly leaked by its Turkish publisher on the company’s Twitter account. It accidentally revealed that Cyberpunk 2077 would launch sometime in 2019, although no specific details were actually offered.
