Diablo 4 Potentially Teased on Blizzard Store

new Diablo game has been potentially teased on the Blizzard store, with merchandise released ahead of Blizzcon 2018 pointing towards Diablo 4. A poster and two t-shirts have appeared on the store, with each featuring the name ‘Diablo Reign of Terror.’ As Blizzard is set to announce the future of the Diablo series during Blizzcon, there’s a possibility that this could be the title of a new entry in the series.

The t-shirts and poster do not feature any reference to Diablo 4 or a new Diablo game, though Blizzard has confirmed it will be discussing the franchise during Blizzcon 2-18. The panel, titled ‘Diablo: What’s Next,’ will take place immediately following the opening showcase on November 2nd, with Blizzard looking set to discuss the “multiple” Diablo projects it has in the works.

In a Facebook video posted on August 8th, community manager Brandy Camel revealed that Blizzard was working on new Diablo games.

“We’d also like to let you know, that the forges here at Blizzard are burning hot, and we have multiple Diablo projects in the works,” Camel said. “Some of them are going to take longer than others, but we may have some things to show you later this year.

“We hope you stay tuned while we work to bring these new Diablo experiences to life.”

While it is very likely that a new Diablo game will be revealed during Blizzcon 2018, it is unclear if Diablo Reign of Terror is in reference to the unannounced title, or is simply a nod to Diablo 3. There is an achievement that carries the same name in the game, which is unlocked when players defeat Diablo on normal difficulty in Hardcore mode. Either way, the merchandise is available to view in the Blizzard Store.

Fans have been hoping to receive some new information on Diablo 4 for quite some time, with Diablo 3 released back in 2012. The Diablo 3 Eternal Collection was announced back in September for the Nintendo Switch, though Blizzard has remained mostly silent regarding its development on a brand new entry in the series.
