Blizzard Reveals More Overwatch Lego

Blizzard has officially revealed yet another piece of its Overwatch Lego line. The publisher announced way back in May that it would be partnering with Lego in order to convert the fan-favorite FPS to block form. In August, Lego teased some of the first heroes that would be included in the line at GamesCom—Mercy, Soldier 76, Reinhardt, McCree, Widowmaker, and Genji. Although fans were initially unsure as to whether these six heroes would be released as a set or would be the only heroes getting the Lego treatment for now, it seems that there is still more to come.

Overwatch director and Blizzard guru Jeff Kaplan can be seen playing with a new piece of Lego in this video, which was shared on Reddit by u/Yukirae. This video confirms something that fans have been eagerly awaiting for quite some time. The newest hero to be announced as part of the Overwatch Lego line is none other than Cadet Lena Oxton, a.k.a. Tracer.

The video sees Tracer’s Lego figure come to life and rattle off a few of her famous voice lines, such as “Cheers, love!” and “The cavalry’s here!” She then proceeds to Blink around the screen, leaving Kaplan puzzled as the theme song for Overwatch‘s “Play of the Game” plays in the background.

Although this reveal is a big deal and confirms that Overwatch Lego is well on its way in terms of production, there is still no official release date for the Lego sets. All fans can be sure of at this time is that Overwatch Lego will be launching soon, meaning that they’ll be able to build sets filled with some of their their mains.

Until then, fans of the game can play Overwatch can get their fix by testing out the new Torbjorn on the PTR, or watching some Overwatch on Twitch in preparation for Overwatch League Season 2.
