Fist of the North Star Lost Paradise

Fist of the North Star Lost Paradise Players Will Receive Free Yakuza Kazuma Kiryu Skin DLC

It looks like Fist of the North Star Lost Paradise players will be getting a nice gift when the game launches next month on October 2, 2018. Sega has announced a free Yakuza Kazuma Kiryu skin DLC for the game, which will be available for download from October 2 to October 16, 2018. The Kiryu skin DLC will turn Fist of the North Star protagonist Kenshiro into the Dragon of Dojima.

The Yakuza Kazuma Kiryu skin DLC for Fist of the North Star Lost Paradise will not be simply cosmetic in nature. While equipped with the Kiryu skin, all of the player’s battle dialogue will be replaced with the voice of Kazuma Kiryu. This includes the iconic Hokuto Shinken callouts, which is the one where Kenshiro goes “ah tatatatata!” when he’s punching his enemies. Curiously enough, both Kenshiro and Kazuma Kiryu share the same Japanese voice actor, Takaya Kuroda.

The Japanese version of the game, Hokuto Ga Gotoku, was originally released earlier this year on February 22, 2018. Several additional features will be added to Fist of the North Star Lost Paradise, including a dual audio option which allows for either the English or Japanese voice tracks. The gameplay will be instantly familiar to those who have played the Yakuza games, including the quirky mini-games and side-quests the franchise is known for.

Fist of the North Star Lost Paradise was also a massive success in Japan, where it became the first game in 2018 to topple Monster Hunter World‘s impressive seven consecutive weeks at the top of the charts. The last Fist of the North Star game to reach international gamers was 2013’s Fist of the North Star Ken’s Rage 2, albeit during the previous gaming generation.

In the meantime, check out the Fist of the North Star Lost Paradise Kiryu skin DLC trailer below for your first look at what it will be like to see Kazuma Kiryu in the upcoming game.
