PES 2018 Mobile Hits 150m Downloads, Konami Adds Login Bonuses

Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 Mobile has reached a landmark global figure of 150m downloads since its release in May 2017. To celebrate the occasion, developer Konami has announced that players will be able to login and receive 50 myClub coins every day from now until September 3. Gamers will also be able to enter the Worldwide Special 161 Stars’ Box Draw over the same time period, with the chance to earn selected players from across the globe.

Konami took its official PES 2018 Mobile site to reveal the celebratory offers, and explain how players can get their hands on them. PES 2018 Mobile players can pick up their 50 myClub coins from their inbox until the start of September, as long as they have completed the in-game tutorial already. The Box Draw, meanwhile, will see gamers pick a special in-game agent that will allow them to sign a player with international experience to strengthen their squad.

There is no word on which players are up for grabs in the Box Draw, but we suspect that the likes of superstar footballers Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and more will be. Konami has stated that all available players will have an equal probability of being selected, so don’t think that there is a luck of the draw element in favour of certain stars compared to others.

PES 2018 Mobile‘s event will even run after PES 2019 has been launched on August 30 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. There has been no announcement that the latest iteration in the long-running football sim franchise will come to smartphones in the foreseeable future. Fans should expect a reveal at some point, however, as Konami won’t want its mobile user fanbase to lag behind those who play primarily on console or PC. PES 2018 Mobile is available to download on the app store for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, as well as Google Play on Android devices.
