Red Dead Redemption 2 Gameplay Trailer Revealed

Red Dead Redemption 2 Gameplay Trailer Showcases New Features

Rockstar Games has dropped a generous Red Dead Redemption 2 gameplay trailer, showcasing many of the game’s new features. Players are able to set up a camp and hang out with the gang. Interacting with your fellow gang members will increase your relationship with them. These are the people that Arthur calls family, and spending time with them will unearth secrets and rewards.

In and out of the camp, the world reacts to the player. Those who have played GTA V will notice how RDR 2 looks similarly “alive” with NPCs roaming and going about their day-to-day lives. The wilderness is full of animals, both prey and predators.

Despite being a gang member, it’s possible to solve problems without weapons. The new gameplay trailer highlights the ability to talk to characters to defuse situations, or taunt them into a fight.

Combat and shooting have been overhauled, to make for a deeper experience.

The player’s bond with their horse will dictate how the steed acts. Over time “the bond between you and your horse will grow, making them easier to control during intense situations.

Another highlight of the trailer is the ability to hunt animals. Sell these or take them back to camp to reap rewards.

Rockstar Games has teased the next gameplay video, which will “explore missions, activities, enemy gangs, robberies, other things to do, and much more, including the evolution of sharpshooting using the Deadeye System. ”

Of course, most players are waiting to see more from Red Dead Redemption Online, which is rumored to offer a battle royale mode. With Rockstar Games making a series of episodes taking deep dives into RDR 2, I think we can eventually expect to see a video focused on online.
