Polyarc has announced the Moss soundtrack release date will be August 3, available to purchase from all major digital retailers. The Moss OST will also be gifted to all current and new owners of Moss, through an update on August 17.
Fans of VR adventure game Moss will be happy to know that an official release of the Moss Soundtrack will be coming next month. On August 3 you’ll be able to buy the Moss OST, composed by BAFTA award-winner Jason Graves, from all major digital retailers. If you already own Moss or buy it now on Steam, the PlayStation Store, Oculus, or GameStop by August 17, you’ll get the chance to grab the Moss soundtrack for free through an update.
On August 17, all you need to do to grab your free copy of the Moss OST is follow a couple of simple steps depending on where you purchased it. On Steam, you’ll be able to download the MP3 files through the DLC section of the game when the update drops. On the PlayStation Store, you can buy the Moss soundtrack free of charge. With the HTC Vive, Amazon, Oculus, GameStop, and the physical edition, you’ll get sent a code to redeem on Bandcamp — with the latter four, you need to send a proof of purchase to this email by August 18.
If you want to purchase the Moss soundtrack, it’ll be available to buy on August 3. For a limited time, you’ll also be able to purchase two different premium editions, on CD and vinyl. In the CD digipak, you’ll find art from the in-game tapestry, and the vinyl (which features 8 of the tracks) features a full-color tapestry on the black record label. Both album covers feature a Moss storybook design highlighted in gold foil. You can pre-order both on Bandcamp.
If you’re a PlayStation Plus user, you’ll get a special discount on a bundle of the game and the soundtrack for $29.99 starting August 3, up until August 17 when this goes up to $34.99 and becomes available on Steam as well.
