Spider-Man PS4 Pro Bundle Revealed at Comic-Con with New Trailer and Pre-Order Spidey Suit

Spider-Man is the biggest PS4 exclusive this fall. And with that responsibility, comes great power as evidenced the new Spider-Man PS4 Pro bundle revealed at Marvel Games’ San Diego Comic-Con panel. Coming in at $399.99 on September 7, this bright red, limited editon 1 TB PS4 Pro comes with a physical copy of the Spider-Man game along with some “digital content.” The panel also showed some Spider-Man Funko Pops, a vinyl of the game’s soundtrack, a new pre-order suit, another story trailer, and more.

While the Spider-Man PS4 Pro bundle was the biggest announcement, the Comic-Con panel had more Spider-Man content to reveal. Along with the Spider-Punk skin and Iron Spider costume from Avengers: Infinity War, players who pre-order will also get the Velocity Suit. It was designed by artist Adi Granov, who is best known for his work on assorted Marvel films and comics.

The panel also showcased some new content outside of the game. Four new Funko Pops were unveiled, showing off Unmasked Spider-Man, Mary Jane, Miles Morales, and Mr. Negative along with a Spider-Punk collectible from Hot Toys, maker of other Marvel figures. Mondo, a company known for releasing limited edition items, is also putting the game’s soundtrack out on vinyl. Castlevania, Contra, God of War, Portal, and more are among the other beautiful vinyls from Mondo. The panel also reiterated that the previously announced standard and limited edition art books are still on the way, as well as the prequel novel.

In addition to all the bundles and other Spider-Man content, Marvel also released another trailer. However, it reveals some new aspects of the game that some spoilerphobic people might want to wait and see for themselves. Developer Insomniac Games has unwrapped a sizable chunk of the game already and while it still most likely contains a ton of surprises, some are probably more worth saving for when the game comes out on September 7 on PS4.
