The upcoming Hitman 2 Collector’s Edition is now available to pre-order. Pre-orders for the game went live earlier today on Amazon UK. As expected, the Collector’s Edition will include many items and will cost you a pretty penny.
The Hitman 2 Collector’s Edition will include the Gold Edition of the game, an exclusive steel case, an exclusive replica of Agent 47’s gun case, an Agent 47 bullet keyring, an Agent 47 signature coin and an Agent 47 rubber duck. The Gold Editon of Hitman 2 has some additional digital content for players. There is an expansion pass which will get you two expansions.
You will be able to play the game four days early, so Gold Edition and Collector’s Edition owners will get to play the game on November 9. There is some exclusive digital content as well. You can get an Italian black leather briefcase, a midnight black suit for Agent 47, a pistol and a concussive rubber duck. Pre-ordering the game will also get you Hitman Sniper Assassin. You will be able to play Sniper Assassin instantly. The Collector’s Edition will cost UK Hitman fans £129.99, though it has yet to be listed in the US.
The upcoming title in the long-running Hitman series is the first entry since developer IO Interactive was dropped by Square Enix last year. Square Enix allowed IO Interactive to keep the rights to the Hitman series which was a sigh of relief for fans.
The new Hitman game will not be episodic like its predecessor. The sequel will have several missions already in the game ready to play. Like the previous game, each mission will have unique locations. Each location you go to will be a sandbox, allowing players to get creative with their kills.. In Hitman 2, Agent 47’s mission is to take down the mysterious Shadow Client and to dismantle his militia.
Hitman 2 is scheduled to release later this year for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
