Destiny 2 Moments of Triumph Live Now

Believe it or not, but there are still plenty of us who still play Destiny 2. While the rest of the world has moved on to Fortnite, Bungie’s Destiny 2 keeps on improving. After two successful expansion passes, Destiny 2 is the best it ever has been and now, to celebrate almost a year on the market, Destiny 2 Moments of Triumph has begun.

Moments of Triumph is something that comes by every year for Destiny players. With it, new rewards and challenges come into the game. The challenges are designed around finishing up things in the game. You’ll earn points for completing various tasks. For example, you’ll get 10 points for finishing Destiny 2’s campaign, 15 points for collecting 25 Exotic weapons or armor and 10 points each for finishing the campaigns of Warmind and Curse of Osiris. In all, there are 400 points to earn.

The full list of rewards and challenges can be found by logging in to your account on bungie.net. Only some of the rewards can be seen right now, however. Indeed, there are only 225 points available to earn, too. Destiny 2 Moments of Triumph doesn’t truly begin until July 31, running until August 28. You can start earning points now, but you won’t be able to claim any rewards until July 31, when the Solstice of Heroes event begins.

What are the Destiny 2 Moments of Triumph rewards, I hear you cry? Well, alongside the likes of a spiffing new Ghost and Sparrow is class-specific armor, new banners, and even a physical t-shirt. The t-shirt must be unlocked just as anything else in during the Solstice of Heroes event, however. Upon unlocking the t-shirt, you will need to fork out $25. That’s a lot of cake. You can personalize your new shirt with your Gamertag, but that will set you back a further $5. Remember that international shipping costs and import tax will come into play, too.

Now, if you don’t mind me, I need to set up a fire team and take down the Leviathan Raid.
