The first game based on the popular My Hero Academia manga/anime franchise has received its official international release date. Bandai Namco has announced that My Hero One’s Justice launch for the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC on October 26th, 2018. The upcoming game will be released in Japan two months earlier on August 23rd, 2018.
According to Gematsu, the full playable roster of characters for My Hero One’s Justice has been revealed. There will be an incredible 20 fighters to choose from in the game, with fan-favorite heroes and villains appearing in the game. The full roster includes:

- Gran Torino
- Himiko Toga
- Izuku Midoriya
- Katsuki Bakugo
- Kyoka Jiro
- Momo Yaoyorozu

- Shoto Todoroki
- Stain
- Tenya Iida
- Tomura Shigaraki
- Tsuyu Asui
If you count the characters in the list above, there are only 19 characters listed. That’s because the final and 20th character will be a pre-order bonus. Fans of the source material would probably know him best as the father of Shoto Todoroki and the second best superhero in the business, Endeavor himself.
The game will feature a unique gameplay feature where players will have to choose one main fighter and two sidekicks. These sidekicks will unleash their Quirks (abilities) when summoned, as well as utilize special combos with different fighters. Players will also be able to customize their fighters with cosmetic items and participate in an online mode.
The game’s Story Mode will also let players relive their favorite moments from the manga and anime, as well as original scenarios specifically made for the game. The developer has also included a Villain Mode, where you can replay the Story Mode through the perspective of the villains. This can be unlocked after completing the Story Mode as a hero.
