Life is Strange 2 Release Date Reveal

Life is Strange 2 Release Date Announced

Dontnod Entertainment has announced the official release date for Life is Strange 2. The highly-anticipated sequel to 2015’s Life is Strange will be released on September 27th 2018, starting with Episode 1. The newly-released reveal trailer confirms that there will be a total of five episodes this time, which is the same as its predecessor.

The teaser trailer for Life is Strange 2 does not reveal any information or detail about the upcoming game. However, Dontnod Entertainment assures fans that further information will be revealed in August 2018. What is happening in August? Gamescom 2018 will be held during that month, which is probably when the game will be featured more prominently, especially since the game will eventually release only a month after the event.

Life is Strange 2 Release Date: When Can We Get More Information?

What can we expect to see from Life is Strange 2 at Gamescom 2018? We will probably learn more about the game’s setting and the basic synopsis for the game. Developer Dontnod Entertainment might also release a gameplay trailer or actual first look at the game during the event.

While waiting for more information on Life is Strange 2, eager fans will be able to bide their time by playing The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit. It is a spin-off which shares the same universe as Life is Strange, which means that more physics-defying narrative goodness is heading your way. The game’s release date was revealed only yesterday, and it’s next week.

Unlike Life is Strange 2, the Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit will be completely free-to-play and the first episode will release on June 25th, 2018. It stars a 10-year old boy who loves superheroes and escapes into a different world as he copes with his family problems.

Meanwhile, as we wait for September 27th, maybe now is the best time to revisit the story of Max Caulfield and Chloe Price in Life is Strange 1. Let’s prepare for another great journey, folks, and check out the reveal trailer for Life is Strange 2 below. Players can also pre-order the game starting today.
