Capcom has revealed that Devil May Cry and Mega Man DLC costumes will be coming to Street Fighter V Arcade Edition. This announcement is a welcome one, considering the revitalized hype surrounding the franchise with the official reveal of Devil May Cry 5 at last week’s E3 2018. There will be a total of three Devil May Cry costumes and one inspired from Mega Man, although it won’t actually be the blue bomber himself.
Street Fighter V Devil May Cry Mega Man: Dante And Nero
The news was recently revealed via a blog post on Capcom Unity. Ken will receive a Dante costume inspired by the demon hunter’s design in 2008’s Devil May Cry 4. Using the alternate code will equip Ken with the Gilgamesh armor, with a focus on slower but more potent attacks. Ed will receive a Nero costume, which will reveal his Devil Bringer arm when using the alternate code.
Street Fighter V Devil May Cry Mega Man: Gloria
Meanwhile, Street Fighter V fighter Laura will receive a Gloria costume. Using the alternate code will replace Gloria’s hair with Laura’s. Both Ken’s Dante and Ed’s Nero costumes can be purchased for $3.99 each on the PlayStation Store and Steam, which will arrive alongside Cody on June 25th, 2018. However, Laura’s Gloria costume will have to be obtained via the Extra Battle Mode. Players will have to complete unique timed challenges throughout July in order to unlock Laura’s Gloria costume.
Street Fighter V Devil May Cry Mega Man: Air Man
Last but not least, Rashid will receive an Air Man costume. Air Man was one of the Robot Masters who made his debut in Mega Man 2. Similar to Laura’s Gloria costume, players will have to play through the Extra Battle Mode to obtain Rashid’s Air Man costume. I know Mega Man fans would be disappointed to hear that it won’t actually be a costume of Mega Man itself but at least we still have Mega Man 11 to look forward to on October 2nd, 2018.
