Yakuza 0 PC Release 4k 60FPS

Yakuza 0 PC Release Will Support 4K 60fps and Uncapped Frame Rate

Yakuza 0 is finally getting a worldwide PC release on August 1, 2018, and SEGA has now confirmed via Twitter that the game’s PC version will support up to 4K 60fps as well as an uncapped frame rate for those with more powerful systems. SEGA initially announced the PC release of Yakuza 0 as well as a few other titles during the PC Gaming Show at E3 2018.

The company also reminded fans that the worldwide PC release of Yakuza 0 will be digital only. Additionally, Yakuza Kiwami, a remake of the original Yakuza, will be coming to PC as well although no release date has been specified by SEGA so far. Just like Yakuza 0, the PC release of Yakuza Kiwami will also support 4K 60fps as well as an uncapped frame rate. Both games are already listed on Steam with Yakuza 0 already available for pre-order with a 10% discount until the game’s release.

Yakuza 0 is a prequel to Yakuza Kiwami and takes place in December 1988, in Kamurocho and Sōtenbori, which are fictionalized recreations of Tokyo’s Kabukichō and Osaka’s Dōtonbori districts, respectively. Players take on the role of both Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima, alternating between the two at certain parts of the story.

SEGA also announced that it will be bringing some of its other hit titles to the PC including Valkyria Chronicles 4. The company will also be releasing some of its upcoming titles to the PC as well including Shenmue 1 & 2 and Shining Resonance Refrain. The company has already released some of its titles on PC including Valkyria Chronicles, Bayonetta, and Vanquish.

Yakuza 0 is scheduled for release on Windows PC on August 1, 2018. The game was originally released in Japan on March 12, 2015, for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 then saw a worldwide PS4 release on January 24, 2017.
