Warhammer 40K Inquisitor Martyr

Warhammer 40K Inquisitor Martyr Trailer Shows Off Major Features

Warhammer 40K Inquisitor Martyr is the first action RPG of the long-running dystopian science fantasy franchise and NeocoreGames has released a new gameplay trailer detailing some of the major features that will be available when the full game releases, and the list is pretty extensive.

In Warhammer 40K Inquisitor Martyr, players take on the role of a member of the Imperium of Man’s Inquisition and carry out missions in the name of the secret organisation. Players will have to face the myriad of enemies of the Imperium such as heretics, mutants, rebels, Xenos, and the daemons of Chaos.

Keeping in line with the grimdark tone of the Warhammer 40K universe, the game will feature the franchise’s blood and gore. It will also feature destructible environments, a cover system, controllable vehicles, an advanced enemy AI, and numerous boss battles. Some of the vehicles players will be able to pilot include an Imperial Knight walker and a Banesword tank.

Players will also be presented with a humongous Starmap with persistent worlds wherein the game’s story-based campaign will be played out. There will also be random assignments or investigations and players will be able to craft their own missions with the Uther’s Tarot card system. The trailer also teased the game’s Warzone feature but didn’t reveal any details on it.

The game will feature three classes for players to choose from, each with their own sets of skills and traits – the Crusader Inquisitor, Assassin Inquisitor, and the Psyker Inquisitor. The game’s character progression system include skill trees and traits as well as the ability to upgrade and customize the Inquisitor’s gear and items with the game’s loot and crafting systems. The game also features a morality system although it’s not very clear how that will work.

Lastly, Warhammer 40K Inquisitor Martyr will feature co-op gameplay, PVP, Cabals/guilds, leaderboards, and global events.

Warhammer 40K Inquisitor Martyr is set for release on June 5, 2018, for PC while the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release was delayed to July 5, 2018.
