Bus Simulator 18 Gets New Multiplayer Trailer

You there! Do you like buses? Do your friends like buses too? Well, you’re in luck, because Bus Simulator 18 just unveiled a new multiplayer trailer. You’ll get the “unique opportunity” to create and manage your very own bus company with up to three of your fellow bus-loving friends. Together, you’ll work hard to make that company a success in the fictional European city of Seaside Valley.

This isn’t the first bus-based rodeo for developer Stillalive Studios. They’re best known for Bus Simulator 16, which while receiving mixed reviews on Steam saw more success in the game’s DLC, like the Mercedes-Benz Citaro pack. It looks like they’re pulling out all of the stops for the sequel though Especially with the game’s multiplayer, which Stillalive are promising to be “an exciting gaming experience for all bus and simulation fans,” which looks accurate from how excited the four friends in this trailer appear to be.

As well as managing and expanding your own bus fleet and creating a network of routes in Bus Simulator 18, you’ll be able to chat with your bus buddies in real-time and encounter them while driving around Seaside Valley. Moreover, you’ll even be able to change buses and get lifts with your colleagues to different locations if you need to get to work on a particular route. Thankfully, if a teammate is unavailable or has to head off early, you’ll still be able to continue playing, for a drop-in/drop-out co-operative experience similar to the Lego games.

When you clock off at the end of the working day, you’ll be able to take the opportunity to leisurely explore Seaside Valley on foot to discover the secrets and sights of the sprawling metropolis. All of this sounds absolutely cracking to me, and I can’t wait to slap on my uniform and get driving. If you want to do the same, you can buy Bus Simulator 18 on Steam when the game releases on June 13 this year.
